Now you must not think that the poem above reflects the album's content.
That journey you do on your own, listen and enjoy.
It is rather a way for me to express what I feel when I listen to the album.
It can be very different, depending on what you carries along in your heart.
As we all know, music is emotions.

Semmelweis Reflex is a brand new band and this is their debut album.
It's obvious that they have not taken lightly to the task. It is tight and well composed.
The vocals is pure and takes you occasionally by a trip to the musical stage.
There, they have something unique, at least in the Swedish Metal scene.
Guitar riffs and loops are hard but not brutal.
Semmelweis Reflex follow in the wake of a number of Swedish Progressive Metal band.
If you like any of these below, then you will like Semmeweis Reflex ;)

The Great Discord, Andromeda, Binary Creed, Blue Skies Bring Tears, Castillion, Cloudscape, Darkwater, Evergrey, Jupiter Society, Last Tribe, Malison Rogue, Mind´s Eye, Moonlight Agony, Nightingale, Opeth, The Povjet Union, Saffire, Seven Tears, Seventh Wonder, Structural Disorder, Summond Tide, Timescape and Witherscape.

No bad bands to be compared with on their debut album.
But I think it keeps.
The variations in the music does not interfere, it´s only enriches the album.
They take us on a journey that has just begun.
The idea of the concept album I love, thats probebly a remnent from the time of vinyl records :)
As I said really good, can only warmly recommended if you like Progressive Metal.
