Mr. Bjarne Elvsgård - Bass Guitar

Tomas was not involved as muchs in the interview because he was preparing for the gig with his other band Hank Of Sweden. Check them out, it Rocks. (I Add link below)

What happens in Ånge?
Per - Lots
Jens - Yes it happens exactly the same things as all the other little places in the world.
Not much
That is why there will be music
It suits us excellent.

When you write songs, all contributes, but how does it progress?

Jens - Thomas and I usually come up with riffs and then we build from there.
Per - There will be a basic riff and it is processed and ideas come from all of us, from there we build the song.

What strikes me when I listen to your songs, the texts have something existential about it, where does that come from?
Jens - I think somewhere there is some kind of valve.
Per - It's things happening all around us.
Jens - It is so with all the texts we write that we try to let them be open to interpretation and avoid hitting the people a message.
It's much more fun if you can interpret yourself.

There's been a few singles last years but no album, is an album in the pipeline?

Jens - We've broken with our record company. It sounds dramatic, but it is not. Not at all.
We have bought off all the material to our songs and viewing the option that we start our own record label.
Per - The album is finished, all songs are .
Jens - You get the verification on the money flow in a different way.
The transparency in the label industry towards the artists are not so big.

All gigs you have had, which has been the sickest and craziest?

Per - It must be the play on a motorcycle party in France down to the Bay of Biscay. It was crazy, Holy Fuck.

They went crazy or what?

Per - Yes, and we also.
Especially when it came up a few dancers on stage and we are coming from little innocent Sweden.

Mr. Bjarne - It was not so innocent dance.
It was very naked and very very sexy show.

Per - When we played. Then they held on. Bjarne, ha ha ha then suddenly it was just completely silent from the bass player. A madam had straddleover his thigh and rocked on.

Mr. Bjarne - Yes hell it was snail trails on the leg.

Per - We have so many damn sick memories, the whole tour with Airbourne was completely bananas.

We assume that you have sold sold out at Friends Arena (56,000 spectators) in Stockholm. You get stomach illness of flu, which another Swedish band may be the stand-in?
Mr.Bjarne - None
Per - We play anyway, submit a toilet on stage and we go.
Jens - We shits and vomits us down.
(Now it was fun all laugh like hell)
Per - It happens that people have defecated on themselves during the gig, absolutely.
Jens - Now we not say that we have done it.
Per - But people in front of us.

A Worldband, anywhere in the world becomes upset stomach flu.
They calling you to be a stand-in, what band is it?
Jens - Slipknot
Per - Any one
Mr. Bjarne - Yes Slipknot, it had become a nut to crack
Per - Yes or In Flames
Jens - Yes if you get that opportunity then it must be hell of a challenge.

Last question is my Setlist for a gig, I want some spontaneous reactions on the list!
I Will Not
Come On In
It´s Up To You
6 Ft Of Anger
Stop Me From Screaming
Age Of Rage
Inside You
Burn It To The Ground
Beautiful Revolution
Bleed
As I Am
Time And Again
Scarred
I Am The God
More Than You Can Chew
6 Ft Of Anger

Per - "I Will not" would surely be fun as Hell.
Jens - Yes but then I take a breather down to "bleed" on the list.
"I will not" is so brutally high, it's hopeless. We played it for a while.
Finally I felt that I just stand and faints.
It's not working.
It's a really tough opening on the list.
"Come On In we often used as a opening song.

Mr.Bjarne - "Stop Me From Screaming" we have never played live.

Per - Nah, it's probably the only thing we have not played live on the list.

Jens - I´m a little bit eager to play it live. That I have been thinking for a long time.

Now you place the band on the Swedish Metal Militia music map!
Per - Sure, it´s technically. Both Jens, Tomas, and Bjarne are musical geniuses at what they do.
But it need not be that important when we play live. We have fun on stage and then it will be show.
We are pretty laid back and cool.

Bob thanks for the interview and wish CORRODED a good gig.
