Interview:
Now you are first on the list. How does it feel to beat all the other bands on the list as In Flames, Morgana Lefay, Manimal and Tad Morose? Europe are not even on the list?
- Yes, it's amazing. We will surely be there :) It is the kind of music we like ourselves and we play of course that cind of music.
How long have you been playing with the band set you have today?
- Yes, we rejuvenated us a while ago. Two years is`nt it? Nah, it can be? Well it is true. Damn time flies.
What other bands do you like?
- It's a little different. We older people in the band comes from the old 80s. So it's a lot of Iron Maiden, Metallica and such. But we have kept up with the right deal, we listen on current stuff as well, right. In Flames, Dream Theater and such. But it's probably very wide, we listen to everything from Death Metal to A & R. But I (Jonas) is probably the softer of us, and like a bit calmer stuff.
What band is missing from the list?
- Yeah, Is Nocturnal Rites on there?
Yes, they have four songs!
- We think that is one of Sweden's most underrated bands and Astral Doors which we saw in Copenhagen. Do you know them?
Nah not offhand, I say. (but I heard enough bad for Astral Doors's cruel and also four songs on the list, I blame it on dialectal problems ;)
Are there any new albums or songs?
- Yes we are on it right now, we have three songs being mixed and mastered now that will be released on Spotify shortly. So it's the finishing touches on them now. In addition to that, we have three, four, to which we are doing. Then we'll see how we do with them.
If only you could do one more gig, where would it be?
- Anywhere or just in Sweden?
You get to choose exactly where you want.
- An arena gig clearly, Hammersmith or Wembley. Yes, but we have Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium also. Some one of them will be good. Can you fix it ;) ?
I'll see what I can do.
You lose a band member, and you get to choose who you want to take that place, who would you like instead?
On Vocals - There I have only one (Jonas) and it's Jorn Lande. - Yes, but we want to say Bruce Dickinson also (the others), yes I can back off a bit on it;) (Jonas)
Drums - Nicko McBrain Take the whole Maiden;)
Then I G sharp who is on base. Well, it gets Nicko or?
- Yes we can imagine Mike Terrana as well, he is awesome.
And a new bass guitarist.
- Do not say Steve Harris now;) Nah, Nikki Sixx. Yes Nikki Sixx's cool he is, we can imagine him.
Then we have two guitarists also.
- Well then it´s Yngwie (Malmsteen)! There is no doubt about.
And his radar partners there?
- Paul Gilbert. - Yes yes, he's clever, he's a bit boring, but he's really good. - Or Slash and John Norum, livens up a bit.
